Student Allowance

The student allowance in New Zealand is a weekly payment to help students with their living expenses during study. It's a nonrepayable financial support system for students to focus more on their studies.

It doesn’t apply to every student as it depends on the joint income of your parents, regardless if you’re supported by your parents or not.
