Delayed Gratification
Delayed gratification is when you wait a bit longer for a better reward.
Imagine you're sitting at a table and in front of you, there's a fluffy, sweet marshmallow. You're told that you can eat this marshmallow now, but if you wait for 15 minutes without eating it, you'll be given a second marshmallow. This means if you're patient, you'll end up with two marshmallows instead of just one. That’s delayed gratification.
